My brother Ed and I both grew up in Putney and are born and bred Londoners. We remember the butchers shops of old from our childhood but, as with many of our great traders, were saddened to see them disappearing from our high streets.
We opened the first Parson’s Nose 9 years ago to bring back the traditional butchers shop we loved from our memories, sourcing the finest meats and seasonal produce with the knowledge and personal service demanded by today’s food loving generation.
Today you will find Parson’s Nose shops in the heart of Fulham, Putney and South Kensington. Each of our shops have their own personality, with many of our regular customers known by name to our great team of butchers. We love the conversations and hearing about the delicious meals our customers have created using our produce.
At our butchers shops you can pick up the finest free range meats from a selection of Great British farmers and producers. You can choose a succulent dry aged steak or a larger joint, expertly boned and rolled ready to roast for all the family. We make our own award winning sausages and our butchers are on hand to answer any question you may have about meat and how to cook it.
Aside from just meat our shelves are stuffed full of delicious artisan produce from charcuterie and fine cheeses to seasonal fresh vegetables and award winning pies. You will also find our Parson’s Nose condiment selection, which includes all the essentials to put together some great home cooking.
