Fajita's are, without doubt, one of the best party meals you can serve. They are so popular, simple and tasty. That's Parson's Nose has developed the Ultimate Fajita Kit.
The kit SERVES 4 People
There are two types of kit, Chicken or Beef.
The kit comes with;
- Marinated Free Range bavette steak or Free Range chicken breast (pre sliced).
- Red onion
- Mature Cheddar Cheese
- Red + Yellow Peppers
- Sour Cream
- Jalapenos
- Corn Tortilla
- Fresh Lime
Method:
- Cut the peppers and the onion into strips.
- Add a dash of oil to a frying pan, add the peppers and onion and saute until they are soft (5-8 minutes).
- Remove the peppers and onion from the pan and set aside.
- Add a dash of oil to the frying pan and heat. Add the meat to the pan and cook until it is browned on the outside and cooked right through. (for best results fry in 2 batches)
- Remove the meat and juices from the pan and place the tortillas in a separate pan for a few seconds on each side to warm through.
- Time to serve.
How to build:
- Place the tortilla on a plate.
- Add a good amount of the pepper and onion mix to the centre of the tortilla.
- Place several strips of meat on to of the peppers and onion.
- Add a good spoon full of sour cream on top of the meat.
- Add the cheese and jalapeños on top of the sour cream and garnish with some fresh coriander.
- Fold the tortilla into a cone with the mixture in side and eat.
