We are so excited to have recently had a new addition to our range of finest quality meat, goat.

Our goat comes from Cabrito, a company that sources goat meat from British dairy farms and supplies many top London restaurants and chefs.

Cabrito was founded by James Whetlor in 2012. James is a chef and entrepreneur who initially started cooking with and selling goat after keeping a few of them to solve a land management problem. He is now considered a leading authority on the subject, with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall stating that, “James knows an awful lot about goats”.

To tempt more people into trying goat meat, James wrote a recipe book dedicated to it, aptly named GOAT: Cooking and Eating

In his own words: “We should all be eating more goat. It’s sustainable, ethical, highly nutritious and very delicious. Why, then, does it remain so underused and misunderstood? GOAT tells the story of how food and farming culture developed in the west without the help of this staple of global agriculture, and showcases the best recipes from around the world using this delicious meat.”
