Parson’s Nose first graced the streets of Fulham in 2007, with one ambition in mind- to bring back the traditional butchers shop that was so loved from our childhood memories. At Parson’s Nose, a family-run business, we have tried to do this fond memory justice- by sourcing the finest free-range meats and artisanal products and combining that with knowledgeable and personal service from the best butchers in town. Things have moved on quite a lot since then.
Today you will find Parson’s Nose in the heart of Fulham, Putney and South Kensington, as well as a bustling online Store. The three wonderfully distinct shops that provide consistently excellent service and are often visited by regulars, who are greeted by name by our experienced and friendly teams. Despite our expansion, Parson’s Nose has retained the core values that have made our butchers the one to visit: a passion for food, innovation and service we can be proud of.
Over the past few years, Parson's Nose has been working hard at keeping the High Street butcher alive and kicking with a number of self funding outreach projects to drive interest in what could be described as a dying art; Butchery.
We launched a series of accredited Farm to Fork workshops in local schools teaching the children about sustainable farming, nutrition facts as well as teaching them how to cook scrambled eggs. The children even get to take 6 eggs home with them to cook with their parents. It proved so successful that we taught over 8,000 children in the first year.
Because of Covid, we have now rolled it out to an interactive virtual workshop, but what that means is, now we can reach even more families.
The second project that Parson's Nose has really taken to heart is their crusade to make butchery interesting for the young, We have partnered with a global TV channel called Planet Eat to produce multiple Butchery Masterclass series. So far we have filmed over 30 butchers from around the globe in our effort to bring the art of butchery to the front of the mind and make it an aspirational career choice again.
At Parson’s Nose, in our stores, we are constantly improving and innovating our pantry selection and meats, with exotic produce like our Alcubilla Cebo Iberian Ham and Spicy Chimichurri, as well as classics such as our Award Winning, good ol’ fashioned British sausages-which we make by hand. At all of our shops, our butchers are full of expertise, and ready to answer any questions you may have, from grilling Chicken Supremes to football to our excellent animal welfare standards.
We have even launched our own range of Ready Meals in our partnerships with Michelin Star chefs in London. Traditionally seen as an unhealthy option, we are trying to reinvent the ready meal by using only our counter meat and adding no additional sugars or salt. We call it cheating without the guilt.

We are currently looking for a butcher to join our busy Fulham shop, starting immediately. Reporting to the Butchery Manager the successful candidate will assist in the day to day running of this busy shop.
