Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of The Vegetarian Butcher Good Karma Shawarma

  • 1tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 175f self raising flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 175g plain dairy free yogurt
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
  • 10cm piece of Cucumber, finely chopped
  • Mint, finely chopped
  • 100g Dairy free yogurt

Method:

  1. Place frying pan onto a medium heat and heat oil whilst you chop the onion and pepper into strips roughly the same size as Good Karma Shawarma pieces then add all three into pan and leave to fry whilst you make your flatbreads!

  2. For the flat breads:
  3. To make your flat breads simply, sift together the flour and baking powder then add in the yogurt and mix with a spoon until roughly incorporated then get in there with your hands! Use your hands to further combine then once you have dough, flour your surface and knead for 3mins
  4. Take the veg and shawarma mix off the heat
  5. Add 2tbsp of oil into a separate frying pan on the hob on a medium heat
  6. Break dough into three parts and roll each third out to the size of a small plate and carefully place one flatbread into the hot oil for 2mins them flip and fry the other side for 1 min and you have got your first flat bread!
  7. Fry the next two the same way, adding more oil if you need to, meanwhile make the tatziki by simply adding all the ingredients below into one bowl and mix.
  8. Fill your flat breads with the Shawarma mix and tatziki, wrap them up and enjoy!
