Made in the Ribera de Navarra and cooked in soft water to retain their natural flavour, these perfectly seasoned chickpeas are good enough to eat from the jar. They possess a soft and creamy texture, while still retaining a natural bite.

To use Belazu chickpeas in a recipe, start by draining and rinsing them. For a quick and easy salad, mix chickpeas with chopped tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and fresh herbs like parsley or coriander. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. For a warm dish, sauté chickpeas with garlic, spinach, and a pinch of chilli flakes. Add a splash of vegetable stock and cook until heated through. You can also mash chickpeas with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic to make a simple hummus. Serve as a dip or spread in wraps and sandwiches.
