Dry Aged Beef Traybake with Baby Potatoes & Shallots

Serves 2 or 4

Parson's Nose has been working with some of the UK's top chefs to develop quick and easy Restaurant Quality Kits for 2 people.  Perfect for that mid week meal.

Everything that you need to make this at home. (excluding Olive Oil)

Included

  • Dry Aged Diced Chuck Steak

  • Baby Potatoes

  • 4 Shallots

  • 4 Carrots

  • Dijon mustard

  • Butter

The only thing you need to add is a splash of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

  2. OPTION - If you have any, mix a tablespoon of flour with some salt and pepper toss in a bowl with the chuck steak to lightly cover the meat.
  3. Heat a frying pan and add a knob of butter.  Brown the meat in the pan and then remove.
  4. Toss potatoes, carrots & shallots with olive oil, mustard, salt & pepper.

  5. Spread the vegetables on a tray and roast for 15 minutes.

  6. Remove tray, add beef, dot with butter.

  7. Return to oven for 20–25 minutes until beef is tender and caramelised.

  8. Stir once halfway through.

  9. Sprinkle some chopped parsley over and serve.

NOTE, for 2 people, choose option 250-275g and for 4 choose option 500-550g
