Cooking instructions
To cook a 1kg cod fillet, preheat your oven to 200°C (fan 180°C/gas mark 6). Place the cod fillet on a baking tray lined with foil. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Optionally, add herbs like thyme or dill. Cover the fillet with another piece of foil to keep it moist. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. For a crispy finish, remove the top foil for the last 5 minutes. Serve with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad, and enjoy your perfectly cooked, tender cod.
